Hello, over the knee boots!!! (Aka OTK boots). Fall is here, so that means you, my tall shafted shoes, can come out and play!! Okay, okay, we’ve already been gallivanting around town prior to the official start of Fall…and I’ve been loving it!! Hehe!

What’s the hype about for over the knee boots? On the practical side, they’lI help keep you warm. On the aesthetic side, they’re super flattering!! Who doesn’t want shoes that make their legs look great?? Along those lines, I think they’re flirty!!! Which I LOVE! Just like how makeup can help me feel more put together, over the knee boots can pull an outfit together!!

Do you already own a pair of over the knee boots? I have 4 pairs. Not all are created equal. Some won’t stay up, and you’ll want to avoid those. Look for over the knee boots with shafts that are of material that won’t slouch easily. You’ll want to be able to walk confidently without leaning down to pull them up every couple of steps. Trust me, I’ve been there!

Being a huge Sam Edelman fan, these particular over the knee boots were no-brainers for me. Quality, comfort and style…all what I want when investing in a pair of shoes that I plan to use year after year! The color is perfectly neutral to go with a variety of outfits (jeans, shorts, skirts, dresses, etc.) I paired these over the knee boots with this tunic that I decided to rock as a dress!

I HIGHLY recommend curbside pick up if there is a Nordstrom near you!! That is how I do 99% of my shopping!! It’s the best of both worlds: A) the ease of online shopping, and B) the convenience of having it the same day!! Bonus: C) I avoid parking, lines, and the unbuckling of kids…hehe…Insert emoji with halo here!
