I may or may not have just devoured a half a box of Godiva chocolates, finished off a batch of gluten free cookies, and washed it down with a paleo friendly “donut”…either way, I’ve got my trusty trench coat to hide my holiday food belly when needed hehe!! I’ve had my black trench coat for years, but I’ve been wanting to incorporate another into the wardrobe. I’ve tried on pretty camel colored ones, hounds tooth and plaid print ones, and I thought I wanted gray….however, when I stopped in Express, I saw this military green one hanging on the rack…with a 50% off price tag…I knew I found the one!! Hehe!!!

I’m super happy with the quality and the SAVINGS!!! The color is perfect. It’s versatile, practical, and it’s a nice subtle change to my usual all black!! I’m wearing an xs and appreciate the fact that I can still layer without feeling too bulky.

THE FOOLPROOF PULLOVER: Gray is my most used color. It goes with pretty much everything! I especially like how it looks with this dark olive green trench coat!! It’s currently on sale for under $30!! I’m wearing size xs, although a size up would be a nice oversized fit too!!

THE MUST HAVE BOYFRIEND JEANS: I’ve been favoring dark washed denim lately, but once I tried on these relaxed, trendy fit jeans, I had to have!! These are my first true “boyfriend” jeans…and I wonder what took me so long to jump on the bandwagon?!! LOTS of room to be comfy, yet stylish!! On sale for under $40!! They fit true to size and the hem can be worn as is or cuffed!

THE STRAPPY HEEL: Black and strappy heels are timeless. They’re flirty, feminine and versatile! Even better, these are 50% off!!! Making them around $35!! I used to get so nervous to wear stiletto heels because I don’t have the best balance ha! However, these are super easy to walk in! In fact, I asked the sales lady if I could wear them out of the store and that’s what I did! I usually wear a 7.5 and the 8 fit perfectly.
