Sweater weather! When I hear that common phrase, I usually think sweater tops…but sweater dresses absolutely qualify too!!! Since I live in sunny Southern Cali I wear dresses year round. However, this time of year is perfect for a cute sweater dress or two (or more!! Hehe!!) Having a chunky knit sweater dress is fun and cozy. I love me a good chunky knit!!! However, I don’t love it when it makes me feel chunky hehe!! This sweater dress from Nordstrom is one of kind! Super flattering. Comfortable. Quality. And comes in red too which is perfect for the holidays!! I especially appreciate the elegant (and strategic) draped front fabric that would make this dress ideal for Thanksgiving to hide the giant meal(s) I plan to eat!! The knit is fine and soft, making this dress cozy as pjs to wear all day long!!

Instead of using a jacket or coat, I opted in for sweater on sweater to keep my layering game unusually consistent hehe!! Thanks to the bottom half of this fab sweater dress, it looks like it passes for a skirt when you throw a sweater on top. Should it be necessary. Since it was warming up while taking pics, I kept my sweater preppy around my neck and then 90s around my waist. Basically, it was like a cozy accessory…a “scarf” that is actually a top lol!!

Speaking of accessory, how cute is this quilted little crossbody bag?? Reminds me of the much for expensive Saint Laurent bags. It is super affordable at around $50 versus the over $1000! It has a little top handle in addition to this detachable crossbody bag strap! It’s so darling!!!

I finished off the look with a pair of booties!! I plan to rock this dress with over the knee boots, combat boots, and yes, even flip flops hehe! Click any photo to shop!!
