Hiii Friend!!
Here are a few thoughts my team and I had when organizing my Amazon storefront to optimize conversion- in case they are helpful!!
1. We Focus On Halo Purchases
My main objective when putting together my storefront was to make the shopping experience as easy as possible for the shopper, AND showcasing products that are most likely to receive clicks- ideally based off data. My strategy is to focus on products that I know my audience will click on and dropping cookies from the clicks. The cookies capture any halo purchases of fuller carts meaning more commission!
2. Utilize Ideas Lists To Organize Content
Think of categories that shoppers will be interested in. Examples of categories I have are: Weekly Bestsellers, Summer Must-Haves, Home Decor, Home Organization, Jeans & Pants, etc.
3. Linking Strategy
We often add the same products to different ideas lists if they apply. Again, we want the shopper to find what they’re looking for easily without any confusion. For example, I’ll link the same canopy beach chair in these ideas lists I have: Summer Must-Haves, Outdoor Seating Finds and Home Favorites
The order you link products in each ideas list is important! You want the first item the shopper sees to be the most popular and eye-catching one. We often change up the order products are listed if we know there are certain items that are getting more clicks!
You can pin up to 8 ideas lists so make sure the ones you pin are the ones you want front and center!
4. Making Titles
I suggest making the titles short and to-the-point for easy navigation and adding a short personal intro to each ideas list. For example: “Affordable home goodies I love!”, “Pretty and practical organizational finds” or “Laundry favorites”.
5. Increase Visibility
Add Photos and Videos to increase your visibility. You can add Collages and Livestream videos as well! You can link 15 products for each photo post and 10 products for each video post.
If hero items sell out, you can update posts with the items from another retailer selling it on Amazon or similar.
6. Consider The Curations Feature
I recently started using this and I love it! Anyone who finds my storefront through my Instagram can find videos of all my reels I post organized by month! It’s just another tool to make the shopping experience as easy as possible!
7. Beautify Your Storefront
We try to make our storefront look aesthetically pleasing and well- organized! I’ve seen a storefront where everything is in neutral colors so that it fits their aesthetic. It works for them, but you think about what works for you and your brand❤️
8. Maintenance
Lastly, maintain your storefront. I run weekly analytics that help me see which items are performing the best so my weekly bestsellers are always up to date as well as the videos I’m adding to my curations folders. Also, create niche ideas lists to stay relevant like viral trends, upcoming sales, seasonal decor and fashion changes!
Hope you found this to be helpful! DM me anytime with any questions anytime! Cheering you on!!!
Xo,
Jen!
P.S. I link to my Amazon Storefront in my link in bio with GoToLinks because I want to track button clicks and see where the traffic is coming from! Plus, I also want to link to my LTK posts and other links in addition to my Amazon links all in ONE place to optimize conversion!
