What is your perfect fit? What are some of your goals and dreams? Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted to have my own business. In high school I filed for my first DBA. So many of my entrepreneurial ideas flopped. They went nowhere. But Loves, no matter how many times the doors shut, I couldn’t help but keep pressing on- and with excitement regardless of what may have looked like “failure”! I’m a firm believer in strategically failing forward, and doing so with gusto!! It’s been a long journey to get to today. I have definitively not “arrived”. Faaaaaar from it. It’s just that I’m honored. Honored to get to do what I do and LOVE it!!! It’s beyond exhilarating to finally see what my business is- to meet it and to be able to embrace it!!! My little 5 year old self couldn’t have envisioned it better…especially since the roles of being a “Fashion Influencer” or “Blogger” didn’t even exist then hehe!
My husband always says that my job here in social media is such a “perfect fit”. I love getting to play dress up, pose for a post (I used to model back in the day), and then connect with people in this brilliant space of social media!! I LOVE people and the opportunities that come from being an Influencer allows me to meet new friends and embrace the very things I love !! I am also so thankful that my job allows me to work from home…or from a coffee shop down the street while I wait to pick up kids from school, camps, Grandma’s, etc! It’s important to me that I’m with my kids. Working from my phone or laptop allows me the freedom to be productive while being available for my family during the day on a regular basis. Yet, another reason why my job is the perfect fit!
